Fav wedding gifts v2

Creating a registry is probably one of the most fun, stress-free aspects of planning a wedding, it's a bit like shopping without having to open your wallet! Plus, a great way to quell any post-wedding blues when you return from honeymoon is to come home to a pile of wedding gifts all beautifully wrapped and waiting for you to open.

Selecting the items for your wedding registry can be a bit of an art, as you want to cater to all budgets and tastes. But at the end of the day, it's about what you as a couple really love - and need.

A good starting point is choosing 5 items that really excite you both and you'll be stoked to unwrap once the big day is over - i.e things you might use on a special occasion, or associated with travel or the outdoors. Once you've chosen these, reflect on what you really need in your life. Look through all your cupboards and write a list of the blanks. You want your wedding gifts to be items that you can have in 20 years time, so don't go straight for the cheapest option for each item that may not stand the test of time,  think quality. And remember that if an item is more expensive, your guests can chip in and contribute different amounts to suit their budget, so everyone wins.

After your wedding day is over and it's only memories, you want to be able to look around your house and feel happy about everything you've received from your loved ones - items that you will cherish forever.

For inspiration, here are some of our most popular registry items which are not only practical but will look beautiful in and around your home. Happy shopping!
