Mildred&Co Couple: Hannah and Bruno
Hannah and Bruno, childhood sweethearts, met when they were just 16 & 17 at a Coromandel beach bonfire near Hannah’s family bach.
A traditional and intimate chapel in Bethlehem was chosen for the ceremony and Bruno’s parents home in Pyes Pa, Tauranga, with its beautiful gardens was the reception destination.
With the couple both wanting a relaxed and unstructured feel to their special day, a rustic and homely style evolved. With the Pyes Pa garden backdrop, very little styling and decoration was required. Anything that was added to the environment was built, painted or hand-made in the days leading up the wedding.
Hannah wore a breathtaking strapless gown. Made from embroidered cotton lace and cascading into a fishtail train, Hannah found her wedding dress on the day of her birthday and being called the ‘Hannah’ she knew it was meant to be hers. Hair was kept loose and natural and flowers were rustic with an abundance of pale greenery.
The laid-back atmosphere was the highlight for the couple. The day itself went seamlessly, no dramas or issues, and friends and family still talk fondly about how much of a happy day it was months down the track. A true testament to a great wedding.

"Thank you so much to the lovely girls at Mildred&Co. We loved the ‘Wish List’ option as we really wanted a piece of artwork and had no trouble with making a selection from the beautiful gift collection they had available. Mildred&Co made it easy to customise and make it work for us. We were so happy with the service and all of our lovely pressies!"
