The rustic charm of tucked away Auckland treasure, Abbeville Estate, was the spot chosen by Sam and Kirsty to say ‘I do’. It was the perfect choice for this hands-on DIY couple and set the scene for the personal, relaxed and warm style Sam and Kirsty worked to achieve.

Lovingly created details such as home made hot sauce wedding favours, gave the day the personal touch the couple were after. Living in London and planning a wedding from abroad meant they needed a few extra sets of hands in Auckland and with a little help from wedding stylists, Two Foxes, their vision went off without a hitch.

Kirsty's cap-sleeved lace dress was a labour of love and a personal journey. Having a background in sewing but not wanting to tackle the task of sewing her own dress, Kirsty decided to work closely with a dress-maker to bring her vision to life. Finding the perfect lace for her custom designed gown was key and after two years of hunting, she finally found some beautiful vintage french lace that she loved.

Choosing just one highlight from this day was an impossible task for the couple as every aspect was exactly as they had dreamed but a few stand out moments were spending time together before the wedding, celebrating with all the special people in their lives and finishing it all off a with a good dance!

Testimonial:
Thank you so much to Bayley and the team at Mildred&Co for helping us with our wedding registry. It was so great to be able to offer our family and friends such a broad range of beautiful gifts to choose from, including adding the option to contribute towards our honeymoon. This meant our family and friends were able to choose something that was special and meaningful to them and that we will cherish these gifts forever. Thanks again for making it so easy and enjoyable for everyone.
