With the promise of great food, wedding inspiration and the chance to learn professional floral techniques, over 35 women joined the team from New Zealand Weddings magazine and Mildred&Co for ‘An Afternoon of Flowers, Fashion & Food’ on Saturday, June 13.

The scene was set with a flourish of gorgeous blooms filling the Mildred&Co showroom. Guests arrived to a glass of bubbles and were directed to their seats where indulgent treats awaited them.

New Zealand Weddings editor Melissa Gardi opened the festivities with advice and inspiration for planning a wedding and then handed over to Muck head florist Sophie, who shared her wisdom on selecting flowers for a wedding before taking attendees through the step-by-step method of creating their own floral crown.

While our talented guests set to work on their creations, the team from the ever-lovely Natalie Chan Boutique wowed the crowd with a showing of dreamy dresses in soft pastel hues for brides and their maids. Gracious models swept the room in key looks of the coming season, sumptuously accessorised with floral creations by Muck.

Many thanks to all who came along, we hope to see you again!
