Reasons Why Your Skin Will Love Clarisonic
Have you met the electric Queen of skincare? Clarisonic, a bushy, oscillating piece of face cleansing gadgetry, is the product we don't want to like in the midst of a movement that champions simple, and using organic food products on our face. But like it we do. Its instructions are thick with jargon on how it is unique because of its "sonic micro-massage technology". How it will buff our visage clean using "a sonic frequency of 300 micro-movements per second". Before you take brush to skin, you will also read that the bristles are specially selected, rounded at the tips in order to prevent any aggressive effect on the skin.
So you use the thing, because by god they've really sold it. Frustratingly, it works. It does a better job of removing your makeup than your hands ever could, clearing the canvas, buffing day residue out of fine lines (which if left, only makes them more visible we're told), and prepping the skin for those expensive serums and oils you like to indulge in.
The trick with Clarisonic is to use it once a day, depending on the sensitivity of your skin. Pair with your usual skin cleanser, select a brush speed and oscillate away! You can even keep it nice and handy in the shower. And be sure to keep an eye out for the latest variation of this whiz machine. Called the Mia 2, it's lighter in weight than the standard model, and given its travel-friendly size, we're pegging it as the next new skin saviour for those brides who are planning weddings in far flung locations.
*Clarisonic Mia 2 is available at selected Farmers and Forma Spas.
