There is nothing in the rule book of weddings that says a formal sit-down dinner is a must-do. More and more we are seeing weddings that favour the 'lounge' approach. This more low-key vibe is perfect for couples that want a relaxed day with increased mingling of guests, and less formal proceedings.

A stylists dream, the lounge wedding means you can really go wild with decorating - start with a teepee tent (for dancing later) and just add an abundance of comfy lounge chairs, rattan and wood vintage lounge settings, scattered rugs and cushions galore.

To keep guests fuelled, serve ongoing canapés, a gourmet buffet dinner or call in a mobile food-truck with tacos, wood fired pizza or burgers - the sky really is the limit!
